This is a late and quick post
McNulty seem to be digging himself further and further down the hole of lies he’s created. And poor bunk ain’t getting the resources he need to work real cases…
Omar is on the war-path, but I’m thinking he’s too keen and angry and might make a fatal misstake soon. Marlo on the other hand also seem to be getting to damn greedy and self-confident for his own good – maybe someone else from the cop-op will take him down (although i doubt it as he’s the connect with the good stuff…).

And we had a chance to see Randy and even Nick Sobotka for the last time. What better return of Nick there could have been than this one! I was laughing with tears when he berated Carcetti with his friends and even got busted. ‘What the fuck is this?’ the new mayor says.
I just figured that there are soooo many great characters of “The Wire” that it is simply impossible to show all of them in such a small amount of screen time of just 10 episodes. Then why did Mr. Simon decide to shorten the season, when we, fans, don’t ever get enough. I hope the season finale montage will feature all these places of the city of all 5 seasons and show all the chareacters which are still alive. That montage should be at least 30 minutes long!
Anyway, McNulty is probably goin’ to visit Avon in jail personally very soon.:D
And characters I want to see more! Carver – the good-heart police, Herc – lost in his values and hopefully Bunny, Prez, Namond and Poot will return in the last 4 episodes. At least for 1 scene! But as good as Nick Sobotka’s!

To have Kernard kill Omar was bulls*it!!! Kernard showed he was weak when Michael beat his ass in season 4. The best damn dude on the wire killed by one of the weakest. I put it up there with the Sopranos finale. Poor Writing. BTW, Michael will blast Snoop on the next one.

where can i wach episode 9 and 10…..im really dissapointed with the way shit turned out and i just want to see what happens to the rest of the main characters marlo chris snoop michael mcnulty ……i mean wow mr simon could have not killed omar and stil had it set up for one more season that would be pretty good but now with omar dead it just isnt the same anymore……why i want to know why did someone like omar have to die like that i mean that guy had been in alot of situations where he should have died and for a little punk like kenard who does nothing as a character but piss people off to have been the one to kill him just dissapoints me and makes me realize how shitty life is and how realistic the wire is…..why couldnt michael have been the one to kill him why??? well we all know chris is gonna get klinked snoopaloop will prolly get murked by mike and marlos black ass is gonna get klinked also….fuck kenard if i ever see the little kid who plays him im going to beat the shhit out of him and tell my friend to get his pack off this little bitch….what about when dookie slapped him and then spider beat dookies ass

That shit pissed me off about my boy Omar. What the fuck were they thinking. Omar didn’t want those shorties to do the same shit he was doing although he was very good at it. He had a code. And that little mutha fucker didn’t live by it. Neither did Marbro that bitch. That little bastard wouldn’ve lived till 14. I hate the fact that the writers put him in to do a man’s job. What the fuck is happening to the wire. Let them go out with a bang, but this shit is absurd. I doubt if I watch it until its final day.

how can omar die like this? this season fucking sucks. 3 episodes of build up and omar died by a little kid. dont care who it was, it should have been someone from marlo’s crew(someone higher up). most of the things that happened this season were crap. too much filler and not enough relevant storyline. it takes almost 4 episodes for something to happen. at times your waiting for something to happen…thats annoying.

terrible episode. Omaar deserved a better fate. It would have been better if he had died in the apartment shootout. For him to die at the hands of a little punk? The writers could have come up with a better storyline. Season is quickly turning out to be a flop!!!

I think the fact that writers killed omar, and the person who did, actually shows how good they are. You all would have been happy if omar killed Chris/snoop/marlo, but that isn’t how life is in the streets. Never know who was the G that killed you, until its too late. Bravo!
Also think it is pretty interesting that so many people have identified and rooted for a gay character, probably a TV first. Good job writers, and sorry you losers who didn’t get the story book that you wanted, but its all in the game!

I am sad at the loss of Omar as well as many of you. Not that I support the way he went out but you have to understand that sh*t comes at you in different directions. If you have it on DVR then you’ll see that he watches Kenard come in the store and not think anything of it. Then out of nowhere BAM! That’s why you need to pay attention in every scene because you don’t know what might happen! If they would have killed him in the apartment then that would have been expected…..you have to expect the unexpected.
